Our Story
Wright-Way Painting was founded by Joshua Wright, a proud Indigenous tradesman with over two decades of hands-on painting experience.
Josh began his journey in the painting industry back in 2001, learning the trade from the ground up, mastering his craft through hard work, long days, and a commitment to doing things the right way — every time. After years of perfecting his skills and building a reputation for quality, he stepped out on his own in 2021, founding Wright-Way Painting to deliver a higher standard of work with a deeper purpose.
What started as one man and a paintbrush has grown into a business built on integrity, cultural pride, and a drive to create opportunity — not just for himself, but for others in the community.
As a First Nations business owner, Josh brings respect and responsibility to every job. Whether it's a home, a school, or a commercial space, every project is approached with care, purpose, and professionalism. We’re proud to be a business where 80% of our crew are Indigenous painters, bringing not only their skill, but their heritage and community spirit to the worksite. Many of our team have travelled from across Queensland, combining decades of combined experience in interior, exterior, heritage, and commercial painting.
